Amazon Lab126 is the inventive research and development team that designs and engineers devices like Kindle e-readers, Amazon Fire TV, and the Amazon Echo. Although the work coming out of Lab126 continues to push innovation, the headquarters in Sunnyvale, Ca fell short. Amazon Lab126 wanted an updated office environment that was competitive with other fun and exciting Silicon Valley company environments. This lead to the theme of the office buildings, an homage to Moffett Field, nature, lifestyle, leadership, innovation and technology. These six themes were then translated into different installations throughout the 16-story building.
